Router Lab
Router Laboratory is established in ECE department in University of Tehran in Winter 2002. The laboratory is basically involved in designing a high speed multiservice 80 Gb/s router. It is a good research environment with high talented team members working on different aspects of a router including central control plane, switch fabric and network processing unit. The Router Laboratory is currently directed by Dr. Nasser Yazdani.
RAHYAB 300
RAHYAB project, funded by Iran New Technology Institute, is a CISCO compatible Software-based 80Mbps IP-router developed in Linux. RAHYAB is implemented in Application and Kernel levels and have many daemons and kernel services working together. In this project we have optimized and improved kernel services such as TC, netfilter and FIB. We also modified and improved these applications: zebra, net-snmp, iptables.
